Holiday Carols for Christmas 2013

With the Christmas holiday only days away, I wanted to share two classic Christmas carols I have recorded over the years. The first is a duet I was lucky enough to record with the lovely and talented Kira Leyden, of The Strange Familiar, (formerly of the band "Jaded Era") which was recorded as a benefit for The Multiple Sclerosis Society, with all proceeds going to the foundation.  Kira has a tremendous voice and we collaborated on an intense rock and roll version of "Carol of The Bells" inspired by The Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

The second is a simple piano version of "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" that I recorded in college at in the Eastman School of Music Studios with my good friend Tom Trenney accompanying me on piano. Recorded in one take, listening to this recording admittedly makes me cringe a bit at how young my voice sounded and what I still had to learn as a vocalist, but the song, in all of it's simplistic perfection shines through no matter who sings it. And so I would like to share it with you.

I hope you enjoy. Happy Holidays to you and yours.
